So I guess this is what is passing for art these days... these artists are protesting several statues in Charlottesville, Virginia. One is a mounted statue of Robert E Lee, which the human sculpture is supposed to be recreating. The other is Lewis and Clark, and their guide Sacagawea - Meriweather Lewis was a native, and the famed expedition started from here. The whole statue outrage going on in recent years is a pretty foolish distraction from the many real and serious issues out there, and as usual, they have figured out how to steal public money to do it. The city of Charlottesville actually pays for this!

I don't get the robot thing they are doing, or why the rear of the horse keeps standing up, or a hundred other things about this. The issue they are taking with the Lewis and Clark statue is that Sacagawea seems too subservient. This sculpture was made and donated to the city in the 30's.
