How To: Powder Sugar Topping on Donuts

I love to experiment with my baked goods so after perfecting a [chocolate glaze](https://steemit.com/baking/@pinkspectre/chocolate-glaze-recipe) for my [chocolate chip donuts](
), I decided to try my hand at a powdered sugar coating on some of the remaining donuts. In all honesty, I could not tell you which donut I preferred, the powder sugar dusted one, the chocolate glazed one, or the plain one. They were all delicious! But if you have a preference for powder sugar on your donuts, it’s so simple to achieve. Here’s how to do it:

Ingredients:
- ¼ cup powder sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter

1. Place the butter in one shallow dish and the powdered sugar in another. Dip each donut in the butter, be sure to coat the entire top half.
2. With the buttered side facing down, place the donut in the sugar dish and swirl around quickly, then remove. 
3. Enjoy your delicious powdered donuts.
