Here is another tune from last night's Dia De Los Muertos celebration in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The band is Nosotros, an excellent and well-loved local band that boasts some top-notch musicians. You can't tell from the video (the place was packed, so hard to get a good view) but they have a vibraphone player in back, and 3 horns - 2 saxes and a phonomenal trumpet player. These guys were so tight and it was no surprise that they have such a zealous following. Meow Wolf is a famous interactive art experience funded by Game of Thrones writer George R. R. Martin, who is a Santa Fe resident. The museum is a perfect venue, and extra perfect for a Day of the Dead party. You can see starting around 1 minute in I take the camera through some of the fantastical areas on an upper floor, some of which peer down to lower levels of the maze. Though most of the exhibit is shut off for shows, some sections overlooking the stage are still open, including a whole school bus that is standing on its end near the back of the room.
