Less than half the weight of a normal medium format camera, the Hasselblad X1d brings the medium into compact form. The X1D-50c is a remarkable camera leaving shockwaves in the photography world. It takes 50 megapixel images at medium format sensor size.

 ## What is medium format?
-------

"Medium format” is generally used to refer to film frames or sensor sizes that are larger than 35mm full frame (24x36mm) but smaller than large format (4x5in). So, the 43.8×32.9mm sensor in Fuji's 50S is medium format, but so is the larger 53.7×40.4mm sensor found in Phase One's 100MP XF camera."

 ## Hasselblad X1d Images
-------

In good fashion, I took it upon myself to check it out at the camera store here in LA. Funny enough, it was tiny compared to my own camera (Nikon D7100). Probably the most expensive selfie I've ever taken. The color depth and the light it is able to bring in is just phenomenal. I'm standing in front of an open window with reflected light off of city buildings, but still the light is just amazing in such a non-amazing-for-light place.

 ## Controls
-------
The X1d features touch control screen on it's back. It's simple to use and makes access to features more intuitive and speedy. The camera also has a digital viewfinder with bright and crisp viewing even in dark conditions. 

## High Speed Flash and Leaf Shutter

A leaf shutter is a shutter on a lens that can function at super high speed flash sync. 

## Lens Line
---
Currently there are only a select amount of lenses available for the camera. But they are really all you need for normal type of photography situations.
