Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report 😊. As always I am grateful for this day, there are many who wanted to see it but couldn't so we are blessed to be here💯. Thank you for stopping by and please keep reading 👓 as I let you in on how my day has been including some of the trending stories I came across. Let's get cracking 💨.
So as usual, I began the day with the fast paced morning session. Brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighborhood 🌲, enjoying the cool morning breeze 🍃. Then I was back indoors for some resting and then later my usual daily chores. I had a big pile of laundry to get through. Then I also kept abreast with the trending news and emails. Later in the afternoon I had a little bit of walking going to the mall for some groceries and window shopping. I was back indoors for the usual refreshing nap. The evening came fast and I woke up to cooking, watching a bit of youtube. Then I was out as the sun was setting to enjoy the slow paced evening walk that winds down my day. The moon was out full and bright just like yesterday. Finally let's quickly look at what was trending in the media.
Locally, all quiet as politicians wait for the swearing in ceremony on Tuesday, then we will know who will be in the new president's cabinet and government. Next door, Ethiopia were celebrating their new year. They are seven years behind the gregorian calendar that we use😱.
Globally, UK still trending as they prepare for the Queen's funeral. Today her body arrived at the Scottish capital, Edinburgh before they take her to London. Meanwhile King Charles received ambassadors from Canada, Australia and other territories where Queen was head of state.
Elsewhere in Sweden polls closed and vote counting underway, the centre left bloc set to win majority in Parliament. Across the pond in the US, president Biden honored 9/11 victims and vowed commitment to thwart terrorism. Down in Chile, protests  marked the 49th anniversary of dictator Pinochet takeover.
