# In the name of Belief

Hi everyone,

Today I want to share a day to day people's photography.
A woman in her old age, believes in God and Carries the Gods idol on her head. She goes door by door asking for offerings.

Nikon D5300 

Off 100, 90 doors she knocks will offer a rupee or two.
If she manages to knock 200 doors a day, she would gather around 200 indian rupees( ~ $3)

When asked, she said she would use the offerings to decorate the gods idol and rest for her food.

It's very common in southern  India and can't explain it as a job. It's a belief she has on god and the people who offer her.

And one doubt my friend had last time. Why does she have somany spices on her face. Its turmeric mixed powder and is a symbol and practice of devotion.
