Truthfully,there are alot of things I wish I had known earlier in hive,I believe this would have helped me alot especially in my growth on hive
So personally ,here are my advices,

> **What are the advices you will give to the new user on hive? 

- Ask questions about all the rules and regulations,
take them important:There are many rules on hive,most times one may violates it without even knowing that it was a rule,so it is advisable to asked from the one who introduced you to hive all the rules and regulations,go through it, understand it and adhere to it.
I feel that should be the first thing to do

- Safeguard your passwords: In hive there are many passwords/keys used for many functions.
It's important to keep them safe and secured from scammers, because once your keys are leaked, anything can happen 
And it can not do some transactions,and logins if as a newbie you can not remember your keys.

- Introductory post : this point may sound simple but it is important,i have seen some members who didn't engaged in introductory post yet they have hive account and they intend to get the best out of hive.
Well,things only gets better with the right steps, so,i would advise any newbie who didn't do his or her introductory post to do so.

- Avoid Plagiarism: Avoid Plagiarism at all cost,apart from the penlaty,there is joy and peace in being original,there are people who will like your own original version,this point will guarantee how long you will be welcome on hive.

- Patience: if there's one thing i have learnt so far in hive it is the ability to be patient 
I have noticed that all days ain't the same,today may be really rewarding and the next day maybe not
there's always a process in growth and it requires patience.If a newbie doesn't understand this,he/she may give up on hive.

- Don't do it if you dont understand it:I know it's important to explore and learn but it is more risky to engage in what you don't know or understand.
Learn to ask questions,for you can't know it all

- Be active, engage, interact,meet new friends and with all this hive will be a fun place for you.
No matter who you are there is a community for everyone,locate your strength and build on it.
- Make sure that images are sourced correctly.
