When you see the Indian peacock roaming in the forest, you will see the true beauty of this bird. Now I will give you some information about this bird in today's post. The Indian peacock is one of the most beautiful birds in the world. This bird has also been given the status of the national bird of India. Peacocks are very much loved for their bright colors and beautiful dance. I am presenting the first photograph as my entry for today's post in Feathered Friends Show Me A Photo Contest Round 231run by @nelinoeva . Peacocks are found in many parts of India. They are especially seen in forests, villages and large gardens. In the photograph above, the peacock bird is captured in the forest. In this photograph, the peacock can be seen walking peacefully near a small reservoir in the middle of the forest. In the background behind this bird, plants like bamboo and a wonderful natural scene of the forest can be seen. The neck and head of the peacock seen in the photograph above are shining blue. The crest on the head of this peacock makes it more beautiful. As can be seen in the photograph above, the back of this peacock is covered with white, black and green patterned feathers. It makes this bird even more beautiful. The most attractive feature is its long tail. Which is called the train, which is decorated by nature with beautiful "eye" spots of blue and green. The peacock is known for its famous dance. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to capture this beautiful dance of its. In its dance, the peacock spreads its colorful tail in a large fan. This dance is usually performed during the rainy season to attract the female, who is called the peacock. In the photograph above, the peacock is seen drinking water from a small pond. Perhaps looking for food or watching for danger, he is looking around in a smart way. In the two photographs above, the peacock is seen in a dry forest area with scattered leaves and tall, thin trees. Peacocks prefer to live in open forests, near villages or in fields where they can easily find food and water. This bird is often seen walking on the ground, searching for seeds, grains, insects and small animals to eat. In the photograph above, you have captured a rare and special moment of a peacock in the forest. The combination of the bright colors of the peacock, the serene forest background and the beauty of the calm water makes the photograph beautiful. All the photographs above also give us the message. These photographs say that it is very important to protect our forests and the creatures living in them. I hope that my post will accept the Show Me A Photo Contest Round 231. I sincerely thank you for visiting and reading my post.
