# Scythian Attack :

Saka entered in India through Bolan Pass. They occupied Makrana, Sindh, Gujarat. One of their clan entered in Haryana then one clan tried to penetrate from this side in central part of India and this way many territories in India were occupied by Scythian people. They were using Greek as their language. They were minting out coins in Greek style only. The script used by these people was also Greek script. And this way India was a victim of next foreign attack that was Scythian attack.

Most probably these people were from Ukraine to Black Sea and Caspian Sea. In this territory these people were wandering. The Syrians were very good in archery. In Iran, this Scythian were there for several years. Greeks also used Scythian as their vessel. In Alexander's army thirty thousand trained Scythian people were there because they were very good at their archery. Now, this Scythians tried to rule over India. The first city an invader or Saka invader named as Maus. That is the first Scythian invader of India. Then onwards Gujarat was ruled continuously by a  ruler named as Nahapana. This way, Scythians spread out in North India but after living here for many years they accepted Hinduism because they were of warrior clan. Buddhism was preaching out non-violence whereas these people were violent they believed in violence and therefore they accepted Hinduism. Now that is actually Vedic religion not Hinduism. So, they accepted Vedicism. They considered themselves as Kshatriya clan. 


# Rudradaman :
Now, their name has changed.  Now Gujarat was ruled by another Emperor called  as Rudra Daman. See, crude names like Maus, Nahapana were there before and now Sansrit name like Rudra Daman. Rudra was often considered as a destroyer. So,settled in India. Scythians accepted Indian culture, Indian tradition but not hundred percent.  Their coinage was still continue in Greek language but rest of the things they accepted like Indian. And slowly, steadily they accepted Indian culture but they maintained their Scythian tradition and Scythians nature. They were not considering themselves as purely Indian they were considering themselves as Scythian.
