<center></center> Bitcoin started the year with a lazy walk in the park. This presented a small entry point for the altcoins to shine. Those entry points can even be maximized with all the good news and all the good hopes for new developments on each projects. Take for example the case of Ethereum (ETH) which on the previous years have reverse effects on the price of bitcoin (when BTC goes up ETH goes down and vice versa). When the holiday dramas saw BTC went on a dip, ETH left the ground and stayed above $1000 and never looked back. Excitement grew exponentially as they released the testnet of the proposed Casper Hardfork in preparation for the switch to Proof-of-Stake algorithm. For this week, I picked two of the most promising projects that have moved along the lines with Ethereum (in terms of market price and project developments). #### 1. Lisk (LSK) Almost a month ago, [I pick LISK to be one of the top performing coin](https://steemit.com/atc/@precise/altcoin-trading-championship-round-11-entry) for the ATC Round 11. Lisk that time was just **0.00067136** and based on the current price now, one could have made an easy **216%** gain (current price of LSK is 0.002121). I remember making that call when I saw the developments in terms of the reshuffling of their team. Lisk, I know has a huge potential but the drawback was due to the slow-paced software development. Now that they have announced a rebrand (relaunch) of Lisk, this could gain back the investor's trust and confidence that soon enough we will see a full-on Javascript-based sidechains! >If anyone deserves a second chance? Don't you think LISK does too ? #### 2. Siacoin (SIA) Siacoin powers the decentralized cloud storage in the blockchain. Anyone heard of Amazon S3, Google Cloud and Microsoft's Azure? Well, have a look at this: screengrab from https://sia.tech/ 10x savings and you wonder why Sia is still under-utilized? Adaptability and Usability is the key to consider here. This is like moving from windows 98 to windows 7; >you know it's a good upgrade but you are too get used of windows 98 that you don't want to change things around! Siacoin's next hardfork aims (mainly) on making siacoin usable to everyone, from the miners, to the clients and to the exchanges. Now if you can't convince your costumer to adapt, then why not show them how usable this tech is? There are less than 400 blocks now before the actual fork for SIA and the price is still cheap. We are looking at a good run here in 6 days time! ---- >*Disclaimer* Trade at your own risk. The above analysis is my own view and I take no responsibility of your trading behavior.
