Who doesnot love to roam around and explore new things? I went To **Kerela- Munnar**and it was an awesome trip. Munnar is known for its beautiful tea estates, tea plantations, and its natural beauty. Its like a heaven on Earth.  The beautiful green lands, cool windy climate,tea gardens, hills, mountains , forests, scenic valley and beautiful sunrise and sunset, the highest tea plantation peak,the famous spice Garden experience all these at one place that is MUNNAR.. Wowww....Munnar is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of kerela. Everything is beautifull here.  Munnar is also known For **Neelakurinji**, a rare flower which only blooms once in twelve years. We didnot get a chance to witness the flower this year. Next it will bloom in 2030. But except that we explore many things in Munnar.. First I am sharing some pics of Botanical Garden of Munnar.. We went to a Botanical Garden at 11am . So it was less crowded. There are lots of varieties of cactus. I have clicked some pic from my phone.                                        **** Then we Spice Garden of kerela- It was a Government's spice Garden.There are lots of plants and tress used in Ayurveda Medicines and spices like clove, blackpepper, cardamon, asofedita etc. The gardener told about the advantages and disadvantages of spices to us very nicely. Here are the pics of some spices. **Brahmi** It is an ayurvedic Medicine used for memory improvement helps to calm mind and Isomnia.  **clove** It is a aromatic spice used in foods for flavour and also in toothpaste, soaps and cosmectics. It is also used in traditional medicine as an essential oil. The oil is very useful for toothache pain and other types of pain and even for fever reduction too.    **Neelakurinji**- It is used to treat stomach infections, respiratory inflammation. It also help in ecological balance. It is a rare plant. It takes 12 years to grow.  **Adulsa** It is used to treat Jaundice, mouth infection, cold, cough, nasal congestion, flu and also in anaemia. This plant has anti- bacterial antioxidant properties.  **Asofaedita** We all know about asofedita. It is a spice. It is used in cooking to avoid gastrointestinal problems. It has a very strong smell. Who donot eat onions and garlic asofedita is a substitute for them.  **Cocoa** The cocoa beans are used to make chocolates and cocoa butter. It helps to reduce blood pressure. The seeds of cocoa is used for asthma, intestinal disease. The cocoa leaves are used in treatment for wound healing and malaria cure.   **Karim Tulasi** Karim tulasi is also known as Holy basil. It helps to cure cough, boost immunity, purifies the blood,insect repellent and lower blood sugar level. It is used in ayurveda medicines. In some cuisines these basil leaves are used in the dishes. It is alsi sacred plant for hindus. It is worshiped and planted in all the hindu Homes   **Black pepper** It is most common spices added in cuisines around the world. It is used in recipes to add flavor and spice in the dishes for spicy kick. Black pepper is also used in traditional medicine. A stem.of pepper bear 25 fruiting spikes. The spikes are collected and dry up in the sun and pepper are taken out.   **Insulin**- It has an antidiabetic properties. The dried Leaves are used in Ayurvedic Medicines.  So this was my day 1 from Munnar. There are lots of things which I will be sharing in my next post.
