 <p>Analyzing data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment Statistics, Kempler Industries looked at which parts of America would be hardest hit by job losses related to automation:</p><p><a href="https://www.kempler.com/automation-nation">https://www.kempler.com/automation-nation</a></p><p>Although drivers are the go to job class usually mentioned in stories about job losses due to automation and artificial intelligence, the Kempler study found that cashiers, retail salespersons and fast food employees would be most affected. Overall, 28% of jobs were found to be susceptible to loss because of automation. By state, South Dakota topped the list at 33.5%; among the more populated states, Florida led with 31.5% (Massachusetts was the lowest, at 24.5%).</p><p>Take the study with a grain of salt if you will, the methodology explanation doesn’t even mention a timeframe.</p>
