 <h4>🍒 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞. 🍒</h4> Hey there hivers! I am a new kid on the block and I am excited to be part of this platform. 🥰✨  I was called different names ever since I was young. My elementary classmates used to call me **“Cherrymyak”** *(the word “myak” actually a kind of pervert name but I don’t know why, we felt like it’s funny)* then it evolved into **“Chezkie”** *(you know, the “emo days”)* when I became a high school student. My family calls me **“Che-che”** and it might be funny, but that nickname stuck with them, until now that I’m old. But I guess my go-to nickname will forever be **“Cherry”**. **Cherry** is my most favorite nickname. I think that it’s such a pretty nickname and when people started calling me that, I became associated with the word Cherry Blossom. I was never really a big fan of flowers, but when I discovered Cherry Blossom, all I could think about was how it sort of describes my life. **"Cherry blossoms* are a symbolic flower of the spring, a new beginning, and the fleeting nature of life."* When I learned about the meaning of cherry blossom, it honestly gave me time to ponder on how my life was also short. I’ll never know when I will leave this world, but I know I also don’t have all the time in the world, like the cherry blossom. But as depressing as that might sound, I also am a firm believer in new beginnings. <h4>**ABOUT ME**</h4>  I was born in Mangagoy, Surigao del Sur, but I grew up in Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte. You probably don’t know these places but this is located in Mindanao. Manukan is come from the word “Manok” in Bisaya which is translated to “chicken” in English and of course you could see the biggest Chicken Statue there. Life wasn’t easy ever since we moved there. The only thing that’s supporting us from our everyday expenses is the small eatery my parents owned and managed. But I also wouldn’t say that it was always that hard. Every Sunday felt like a feast for us. It’s the only time that we woke up early but not to open the eatery, but because it’s our tradition to attend the mass every Sunday. Then after mass, my sisters and I would buy bread, and my parents will cook delicious food for lunch. It was a very simple life back then. Then I grow up. I have to leave for college alone. It was not an easy journey. I was so young back then and I have no permanent home. I have to work part time as a private tutor to finish my degree and eat boiled egg all the time to survive college, and I am proud to say that I survived and become the PROFESSIONAL TEACHER that my mom always wanted me to be. Now I am enjoying teaching as a subject teacher to my Myanmar students and an ESL Tutor for Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese and so on.  My family and friends always told me that I am very hard-working person but they didn’t know that I love to sneak out and have fun sometimes. So, then I started to write things about my happy life or now I call it my “Pretty long journey”. I started writing when I was in college, I was very fond of Tumblr at that time and it was like my diary about my daily life and adventures with friends and my school progress.  Then I suffered from writer blocks, I stopped writing and started enjoying photography. Then I realized I have a long journey to learn and explore. So, I made a lot of memories, and I am still doing it right now and also learning to improve myself. I am so proud of myself that I have been able to always find ways to continue striving and to prove myself that I can do more. <h4>**About the Hive**</h4> This journey has long been started and now it’s going to be more exciting because I meet new friends, reason, motivation, and purpose to continue and share it to you, hivers. I am so thankful for my friend @charisse.craves who told me about this hive. Me and @charisse.craves have something in common like taking pictures, eating and some funny things that we only two laugh about. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank her for inviting me as a bride’s maid of her wedding. On that event, I meet @jongcl and I am so curious about her because she was like a fashionista and I love it! @Jongcl was the one who help me to get in here with the help of @charrise.craves. I look forward for this two.  I am really looking forward for a positive and heartfelt connections with each and everyone here. I have a little knowledge about crypto and I am still learning and reading about it. I am hoping that I would gain some ideas and grow together with everyone in here. I have never started doing investment too and I wanted to open my mind to this kind of world because I know this has a lot of potentials and I need to know more about it. I hope you support me as I proudly say that my “pretty long journey” will start today. In this journey, I will be sharing a lot of things and give some life lesson advices and encouragement. I always believed that life is a journey filled with struggle, lessons, bad and good moments, happiness, celebrations and many more that will lead us to the right path and purpose of life.
