It's not even dark yet but the moon is already at its full potential. Round and ridiculously shining. I don't know if it's taunting us or motivating us, telling us that everything's going to be fine. I prefer that latter; not taunting, or motivating. Just indifferent, it's been 4 days since super typhoon Odette graves us with its merciless power. It started with a fine day, none of my sisters were doing anything extravagant. I was teaching my usual schedule for the day and everything felt as normal as it can be, but we should have known it was just the calm before the storm. **December 16, 2021.** At exactly 8 in the evening, the wind started to pick up. We forced my oldest sister to sleep since she still has at 2 in the morning. My youngest sister was trying to calm our dog but **ME?** **I WAS LOSING MY MIND.** *If I can't cancel all 8 classes*, I'll definitely receive a penalty from our company but of course! Everything was under control after a few minutes. Another hour passes and I can definitely heard the wind howling. At this point, my dog was already very restless. We checked outside a few times. Everything looks scary but not that alarming. **AT LEAST NOT YET**. But what we weren't able to check was our floor. It was already full of water from the window which we never expected because we thought we are going to be safe from this typhoon especially if there's gonna be a flood happen. It was not about the rain, nor the floods but it was because the strong winnd that made a very big damage to my place and outside. Why oh Why, just a week before Christmas Odette? Fortunately, we were okay. All of us were safe and my dog finally stop barking when the wind stop. **December 17, 2021. The result of the merciless Odette.** **December 20, 2021. As an update**, we are lucky to receive water to get a shower from our landlady, and luckily in my compound, the electricity is back but we still need drinking water and cash since we can't use digital pay to buy groceries. I hope each and everyone will get the help they need. We will rise up again! #BangonCebu #Cebu #Mypersonalexperience
