Just as a gardener tends to and plans their farm carefully, crafting each row with a purpose and utmost care, you are about to sow the seed of aspirations into the rich and flourishing soil of Hive. Now, let's picture those goals of yours as various plants in the garden: some are robust and growing representing significant achievements while others are delicate yet promising, representing symbolic personal growth. The soil of Hive enables growth through community support and interaction, much like a garden nourished by rainfall and sunshine.</sub></center> </div> <div class=text-justify> <center><sub>As we write our goals for 2024 on the Hive blockchain, we are planting these aspirations like seeds, each bringing out a potential bloom of progress. As a garden develops with time, our goals nurtured by the support of vibrant communities on the blockchain, have the strong will to flourish and bear the fruit of our consistent engagement and dedication all through the year.</sub></center> </div> --- <div class=text-justify> As I lay on my bed around 11 pm on the 31st of December, I reflected on how the year has been for me and heaved a sigh of accomplishment on the blockchain. I felt that I had achieved writing on Hive daily for 365 days, I felt that achievement in me. I had the determination not to miss a day without posting something of value. Days I didn't earn enough and on other days that I earned more, weeks that had me grinning all through that I was super lucky and favoured and other weeks when I felt unhappy but would pat myself on the back and remind myself of the days I did well and also that not all days would be rosy. This, I held all the time which gave me motivation to keep going and never give up. Yes, I didn't give up. I kept moving with or without rewards. </div> <div class=text-justify> Before the year ended, I had taken screenshots of my profile and wallet, how they are, and for me to be able to keep track of my goals by the end of the year 2024. At the beginning of the year 2023, I set goals of what to achieve on Hive and in the end, I felt good achieving most of them while the ones I couldn't, I didn't bother myself to be worried because I believed just like a garden evolves with time, my seed will flourish if I put in huge effort and as long as I do not give up, I will be able to see how amazing my fruit had yielded good result. </div> --- <div class=text-justify> [<sub><sub>*I want to set new goals for the year 2024, one I would always look into every time to remind myself and check my progress often.*</sub></sub>]() </div> <div class=text-justify> ##### <sub>Be able to post daily for 365 days</sub> </div> <div class=text-justify> I did this last year and I want to do it again this year. I have found out that writing has become easy for me because of how I have been consistent with it in the past. I do not have issues writing or typing something; I can type while walking, lying down, sitting and even while dancing as long as ideas keep flowing. One thing about me is that I am always at alert because ideas can come in anyway and at any time, so, I don't need to keep a pen or book with me all the time since I have my phone with me. It is my goal to end the year with another yearly badge just like I did for 2023. </div> --- <div class=text-justify> ##### <sub>Be able to engage meaningfully with posts</sub> </div> <div class=text-justify> For this, I set a target daily which is to comment on at least 15-20 posts per day. How do I achieve this? There is the dreemport curation where we curate five posts daily and I do not plan to stop this since it would be part of my engagement on the chain. For the other 10 or 15, I will divide each day into parts depending on how the day is for me. Waking up early as usual is already part of me and before I go to work, will do the dreemport curation, while at work and less busy, will engage for a while and when I get home in the evening will do the rest. I know there will be days when I will have enough time to comment on more than 20 posts. </div> <div class=text-justify> *There will be days when I will meet with some challenges like lack of power supply which might reduce my activity, I have a power bank and planning on getting another to make it two. Also, another issue is the network so I have decided to get a WiFi router to make things easier for me.* </div> --- --- <div class=text-justify> ##### <sub>Be able to increase my followers, and reputation, grow my Hive Power and save HBD</sub> </div> |Profile|HP|HBD| |-|-|-| |||| <sub><sub>Screenshots at the end of 2023</sub></sub> <div class=text-justify> By the end of the year 2024, I want to increase my reputation from 72 to 75 because I wouldn't want to set one I wouldn't be able to get to. At least, I will try my best and if possible I exceed the goal, that would be great. I also would increase my followers and those I am following because I plan on meeting new and amazing authors on the chain while we build great interactions among ourselves. Having more followers would be determined by my engagement and quality contributions to their posts and this is something I am already good at. </div> <div class=text-justify> I ended the year with 3898 HP and I am looking forward to ending the year with 7000 HP. For this, I won't stop being consistent on the blockchain and engaging actively. Yes, I don't want to go hard on myself thereby feeling unfulfilled in the end for not achieving my goal, I will continue to show up, converting my earned HBD to Hive. I want to be able to save 500 HBD. I set this goal last year but couldn't achieve it even though I spent a lot of HBD for upkeep and other things, still, I would want to be able to achieve this goal by the end of the year. </div> --- <div class=text-justify> ##### <sub>Engage on thread and grow my Leo Power and other Hive Engine tokens</sub> </div> <div class=text-justify> I wouldn't want to exempt this from my list of goals because I have come to enjoy Thread and Leo tokens. I achieved my Leo Power goal last year and I want to be able to set another goal: achieving 10,000 Leo Power by the end of the year. Part of the ways to achieve this is by posting consistently in the Inleo community, making threads, engaging with others daily and buying more of the tokens in the market with my earned HBD. So, also, growing other tokens that are good would be my goal too.
