Bitcoin 0.13 is finally released. Due to suspicion of hackers trying to destroy bitcoin, you should be extra cautious when downloading it, as it might be corrupted! Always check the integrity of the binary files!

As of this moment nor the binary nor the PGP signature file is not yet released, only the source code, so you cannot verify the integrity yet. I think we should wait a few more hours until the developers put it there. **[MORE UPDATES LATER...]**

# How to check integrity?

1) Get the signing keys of the developers: https://bitcoin.org/laanwj-releases.asc
2) Verify that you have downloaded it from bitcoin.org, via that HTTPS protocol, not a malicious phishing site
3) Cross-verify the authenticity of the signing key by the fingerprint from other sources:
The fingerprint is: `01EA 5486 DE18 A882 D4C2
6845 90C8 019E 36C2 E964`
(But don't trust me, verify it yourself, the fingerprint can be verified on the following links just press CTRL+F and paste it there and verify if it matches)

(Also make sure the websites above are also HTTPS, and have trusted certificate, not a phishing site)
4) Grab the signature from the main website and verify the signature with GnuPG on Linux or [Kleopatra](https://www.gpg4win.org/download.html) on Windows, against the binary file
5) If it matches then it's probably a good file
6) Also get the SHA checksum and verify it for extra security
