My name is Daniel and this is actually my first time here. I am the second and the last born in my family. I am a proud citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I am a 400 level student of Faculty of Law, University of uyo. It's always very funny when people say that i don't look like a law student, that i would have chosen another course other than Law, for example maybe Theatre Art. But they always forget the fact that there are so many areas of endeavor in which a lawyer can be useful. From my knowledge of law, a law career provides me with so many opportunities for work setting. It is a common misconception that a law school education leaves graduates prepared only to engage in traditional law practice when, in fact, a law degree gives students the requisite skills and training to contribute and thrive in many law-related, or non-legal, careers. As a matter of fact , law graduates are actively employed in politics and government, higher education and continuing education, business, alternate dispute resolution, publishing and research, law enforcement, communications, and the arts. In my few years of pursuit for legal experience, I have discovered that Law is a vital component in the successful integration of people, impresses me with its in-built readiness to change in accordance with society. The long-standing legal system in this country and the relationship between parliament and the courts provide a dynamic professional environment within which to work.
