I've had experiences of being without a phone, my phone got faulty twice and it took me few weeks to get the issue resolved, so I know how it feels to be without phone.

I was always avoiding trying to imagine myself without a phone because I always think I won't be able to the next day sunrise. And this was because, 2 years ago, I got addicted to my phone during the rise of NFT's as I got the opportunity to learn about them and also participate in minting some.

At that time, I spent at least 14 hours out of every 24 hours operating my phone searching, distributing and referring more people to the NFT Community I joined then. I also got a role on their discord channel where we use to have meeting for hours every evening. I'm glad that stopped after a whole year.

#####
***Things That Kept Me Alive When I Had No Phone***

- ***Enough Food***
During the time I wasn't with my phone, I noticed I tend to eat more food, first as a way to kill boredom, then to feel alive. My parents and siblings would complain but they knew I wouldn't listen to them nor do what they ask of me except I eat to my satisfaction.

- ***Staying Around Friends***
The company of my friends helped me stay alive during those two tough times. ***Yeah, those were tough times and I pray I don't experience that anymore.*** Sometimes, I take long walks with friends just to take away the thoughts of boredomness out of my mind.

Funny part was, there were times I voluntarily escorted my friends when they are going out to get something for themselves or their parents. As long as they walk past my house, I would follow them... *what a pity*

- ***Long Hours Sleep***
It literally felt like the earth stopped roatating, so it was niether day or night, I just sleep as much as I could at that time. I slept a lot as a result of boredom, except I'm with friends where we engage each others with ideas, school activities, movies and jokes. I would leave my siblings to be alone in the bedroom so I could fall asleep after a while.

- ***Visitations***
I did quite a number of visitations at that time😅. I would just decide *"uhm... I haven't seen this my guy in a while o, let me go and check on him/her".* Not having a phone almost turned me into a missionary visiting homes of my friends as I visited them without any notice.

- ***Playing Musical Instruments or Listening to Music from Neighbors or Friends***
I love listening to music and I also play the bass guitar, so it is quite easy to while away time and shake of boredom with music. Either by playing the guitar, listening to music or singing. *yeah I sing too.*

I had similar experience twice, the first was the phone screen and touch pad and I repaired it after 2 weeks.

Second was just the phone screen and I stayed without phone for 2 weeks too. It was very tiring and boring as I wasn't able to stream YouTube and Instagram videos. I could only watch movies on my laptop.
