Massive hole discovered in the Sun NASA has discovered a massive 75,000 miles wide hole 
in the Sun. 

This intense magnetic field is larger than 
the Earth. 

It was documented by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory in a video captured last week. 

The massive sunspot is powerful enough to 
produce solar flames capable of disrupting 
GPS and communication signals on Earth. 

It also seems to be growing, NASA said in a statement.
