# A lot happened since the last update
In my last [update post](https://steemit.com/esteem/@pundito/gas-drilling-status-update-40ec5991da6a2est) I showed you that gigantic wall they were constructing as a sound barrier.

Only 17 days later it looks like this:

Fully packed with containers and a huge drilling tower to get the gas out of the ground.

All this because of  1 - 2 liters of methane gas were leaking each day as explained in my [first post](https://steemit.com/esteem/@pundito/drilling-for-gas-in-our-neighborhood-1deed7a181b44est) about 3 months ago.
BTW: one cow releases about 480 liters a day.

# At night you need sunglasses
If you walk there in the dark I recommend sunglasses.
Just compare the light of the street lighting on the left side of the photo with the light of their lamps.

# I really hope they are gone quickly again
As they are working 6 days a week 14 hours a day I hope they are done in some weeks.
Also, I don't like earthquakes and as long as they get gas out of the ground there is a chance that mother earth reacts to this.
