_Walk by faith and not by sight._ -**2 Corinthians 5:7**

What does it mean? Those words are simple enough. _"Live your life by following Jesus"._

There’s a song that I’m reminded of and it’s called “Oceans” by **Hillsong**. There’s a part in the lyrics that sings,  “Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders, let me walk upon the waters, wherever you would call me. Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander, and my faith will be made stronger. In the presence of my Savior.”

Walking by faith means
* Living life in light of eternal consequences.
* To fear God more than man.
* Obey the Bible even when it conflicts with man’s commands.
* To choose righteousness over sin, no matter what the cost.
*  Trust God in every circumstance.
* And to believe God rewards those who seek Him, regardless of who says otherwise (Hebrews 11:6).
