Thank @melinda you for this amazing contest!</p> <p>My photography shows a detail of the clock tower of hour of the Wuerzburg city hall. The figure is a part of tower clock and stands for the real person Earl Eckhart de Foro who lived in this tower in the 12th century. He was murdered in 1201. As a late honor given to him the tower was na after him later: <a href="http://wuerzburgwiki.de/wiki/Grafeneckart">Zum Grafeneckert</a>.</p> <p>I add three photos but it is just one motive. The first photo was the one I wanted to contribute with:</p> <p><img src="https://foto.ia4a.com/wp-content/uploads/IMG_9067-e1519491199118.jpg" width="1279" height="960"/></p> <p>The second photo shows the spot where the motive is located.</p> <p><img src="https://foto.ia4a.com/wp-content/uploads/IMG_3161.jpg" width="944" height="1401"/></p> <p>And because it was such a ice cold but clear and beautiful morning when I went to work, I decided to shoot a second photo of the earl ...</p> <p><img src="https://foto.ia4a.com/wp-content/uploads/IMG_3163-e1519491214898.jpg" width="960" height="1280"/></p> <p>I like the warm sunlight and the colors of the late afternoon sun on the first photo. The contours of the shadow are a little bit blurry on the uneven wall plaster because of the low sun. Which of the two photos do you like best?
