# There are people that when asked "*How much t.v. do you watch per day*?" say at least 3 hours or more, and might not think of that time as significant.

 However when you consider practicing an instrument or researching a paper for school people may say the time was **BETTER** spent comparably.

## It's a dream of many to have a perfectly balanced life, but lets be real here and claim that nobody is perfect and everyone messes up sometimes. That's why counselors exist. (emayerite?)
The topic of worship is personal and so that's why I am not going to indulge the religious and political views, but a subjective perspective based off personal experiences and literal translation. If the discussion in the comments leads to spiritual discussions and such then so be it.

I want to look at __"*Ardent devotion; adoration* "__ and peer into our own lives with that perspective in mind.

When you talk to other people _**what does your mind go to**_ for topics to discuss? You were given the option to sit on the couch or serve at a homeless shelter, _**what do you do**_? A person you love ditches you to hang out with someone else, _**how do you feel**_? **And WHY?**

### All of these questions may give you some insight on how to approach the reflection of your own priorities and to better understand who you are to yourself and everyone around you.

Consider that in certain countries your average citizen will place some sort of tribute to whom or what they worship in a main room and all of the chairs in this room will be placed to face the " idol ". In **America** you will find something very similar.
#### In most peoples homes, in the main room, you will find the chairs are placed to face a television set.
