It is our belief that inability of the Nigerian government to provide the essential funds and infrastructure for scientific advancement has not only led to brain but also brain doom of our students in tertiary institutions. It is the joint responsibility of the society, scientists, engineers and government to bolt up change as far as scientific and technological advancement is concerned.

       Meanwhile, We must totally reject the myth of technology transfer as he who pays the piper dictate the tune. Successes in the area of science and technology cannot be divorced from successes in other sectors of society, industry etc. Otherwise they would only be temporary. The constraints against scientific and technological advancement are systemic and it is only through an understanding of how the system operated and the extent to which these constraints are a product of the structure and goals of the system, that real solution can be put forward. What we have at best can be summarized as lean hope and all promises.
