Are you the type of person who would always find it hard to “say something about yourself” or utter words that would describe yourself, your life, your ambitions, and uhmm.. your non-existent, wish-it-was-more-than just-friends relationships? If you are, then maybe you’re subconsciously nodding your head right now.. So hey, you’re not alone. 

For starters, my name is Queenie and I’m an international student taking up my Master’s degree thousands of miles away from my home, Philippines.  1,483 miles to be exact. Being born Pisces, I grew up to take responsibilities very seriously, to love music like it’s my very soul, to care more than I probably should and to also “balance” a seemingly lively social life while dozing off reading a novel or two. I’m one you’d see with a cup of coffee in hand, nose diving on some book that you’d never want to know what or else you’ll be spoilt till ending. One you’d talk your Harry Potter theories with and profess your undying love for anything GOT and TWD related. 

If you don’t find me reading a book, or engrossed in a new episode of TWD or GOT, then it’s probably be a close call between Victoria and The Crown. I’m also a middle kid, sandwiched by very annoying-yet-lovable sisters and that explains my random rebellious acts and my failed attempts at being a black sheep. 

My entries would range from novels that I wish I would have the time to write, from my thoughts splashed on black canvases, to my unplanned adventures, and on nights that my artistic soul has not yet been drowned by research writing, article critiquing and late night thoughts about Plato’s utopia and the realities of democracies, and the besetting news in the government. I am a self-declared, and an everyday devoted advocate of women rights. Keep up with me for a frequent doze of optimism and some raw human feelings laid openly. Here you go, here’s to me saying “Welcome to steemit, self!”.
