36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: **“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’** 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: **‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”**

**Matthew 22:36-40 NIV**

The two greatest commandments to us. To Love God with all our hearts, minds and soul. To love each other like ourselves. 

Many people believe that in order to be a Christian, to follow Jesus Christ, one has to follow a lengthy set of rules, laws and regulations. 

''They are just too many!''
''It is too demanding!''
''It is too restrictive!'' 

Yet this is a mistake. The rules we are called to follow are not many, nor demanding, nor restrictive. 

There are only two commandments for us. The commandments of **LOVE**. 
Through the commandments, the only things we are demanded is to love. And through love we find the **GRACE** of God.
In these commandments, we find freedom. And we are FREE under God's protection.
