This is not your average baby monitor, so please take a minute to look it over and tell others about it.

I just think its an amazing invention and everyone expecting a child should hear about this baby monitor. The owlet monitors Owlet  your baby’s heart rate and oxygen levels while they sleep. 

This new product was released October 21, 2015. This is a clip from the latest press press release: Owlet Baby Care, Inc. was founded in 2013 by a team of passionate parents who wanted to bring themselves—and other parents around the globe—peace of mind and assurance by developing a monitor that tracks a baby's breathing and heart rate. Using pulse oximetry, the same technology used in hospitals, the Owlet Smart Sock will send alerts, to the base station and via WiFi to a smartphone, if a baby were to stop breathing while sleeping.

I don't have any children yet, but then I was in high school many years back, I remember a speech I wrote for public speaking on SIDS. (sudden infant death syndrome) I can't imagine being a new parent an waking up to find my child stopped breathing in the middle of the night. 

Whenever my wife becomes pregnant, I would have no hesitation to spend $250 for this peace of mind. I decided to write a quick post about this new product because it was only released  less than a year ago, and every expecting family should know that these devices exist.
