## Why do I bother posting? I barely ever get noticed..
**Firstly**, I believe steemit has huge future potential. That's why I'm investing in steem in my trading accounts and every little bit of steem that I accumulate off my blog is bonus. **Second**, I've been blessed to stumble into trading the stock market. I've been able to make a great living trading, for the past 11 years. So why not share that experience and knowledge with anyone who wants to learn. 
## Do I expect to make anything from these posts? 
Nope. Steemit has consistently proven that if you are a minnow (if you have a small account) getting noticed by the whales is more of a lottery game, regardless of how good your content is. That is, until you get popular (have many followers) or you beef up your steem power out of your own pocket book. So don't get discouraged if you spend hours of hard work and sweat on every post, only to get .25 cents for your efforts. Just don't expect any reward, but instead post because it makes you happy or helps others. Then if you ever do get noticed by someone who has some weight, that will be a surprise and a bonus.
## I've considered giving up on creating content many times so far. 
So I'm sure many new steemit members have felt that way and probably quit. It's unfortunate that the reward process is not more fair, but we are in the early stages of what (in my opinion) will be a huge social media platform, so don't give up while they are working out the kinks.
