Taking street photography in a medieval town has its charm and is something you don't encounter every day. That's Wernigerode, a medieval village, with its distinctive architecture and a castle that I described in a previous post and can be seen by following [this link](https://peakd.com/hive-142159/@r4f4/wernigerode-the-castle).
The first photos show the interaction of people in their surroundings and the last, typical views of the town.
* An elderly woman was walking past a shop window.
* Women walking their dogs in the streets.
* A man was walking under the old tower.
* A girl was waiting for the traffic light to change to cross the street.
* Wernigerode train station.
* Train station courtyard.
* View of one of the town's main streets.
* A section of the wall with a watchtower that served to protect the castle.
