Curiosity found these molecules on surface of large dry lake may be of water inside Gale Crater. This discovery shows that this lake have necessary ingredients for life or sustain life on Mars. Matter is preserved in mudstones that are 3 billion   years ago.

Release of methane is also Detected on surface.  Methane directly   relates to life .The methane observation  prove that there any biological sources on Mars . On Earth Most Methane is produce by the Biological sources. But the new data shows that methane is stored under the surface of planet with change in weather condition  bring on the surface than detected by curiosity.
