<center>_Jump Man_</center> <center>ジャンプ</center> --- <center></center> --- ### Hey Everyone Raizel here, and I hope you guys are having a great day. Today I just finished this animation of a stick man jumping over a gap. This one took me quite some time to finish. Probably 3 hours, I lost track of time.(ﾟ～ﾟ)Anyway, I was looking at some youtube tutorials and this guy name **Alan Becker** (that I've been following for a very long time) was talking about pose by pose animation in Adobe Flash. Although, I've heard of this technique before but never actually tried it. So today I thought I give it a go. (▼∀▼) --- <center></center> <center>_Not a whole lot of layers, but a lot of frames of animation_.</center> --- ### Process/Pose By Pose First off, pose by pose animation is kind of like planing out key poses for each frame of animation and then drawing your character in between those frames. I believe I talked about in between frames in my last post. Pose by pose was the main thing I did for this animation, and I gotta say it is very helpful when it comes to planning out animation. So, the first thing I did was make a simple background. I just basically went to [spriters resource](https://www.spriters-resource.com/) and the assets I used is from **Mortal Kombat 2**. The second thing I did was plan out my frames. So I drew my character on the edge for the first frame, the second frame was jumping off the edge, and the last frame was landing on the other side. I then proceeded to animate in between those frames.
