<center>_Dark Watcher_</center> <center>闇</center> --- <center></center> --- Hey people, I hope you guys are having a good evening. I just wanted to share another old picture that I did back in college. I had a project that I needed to do for a book called kite runner. Basically I had to make a illustration from the book and talk about it with my classmates. I slightly forgot what the story was about, and it was like 4 years ago, but I can remember the story being very dejected and depressing. I think I remember what the symbols stand for in this drawing. The ground represents on the mains character's situations, and how the world is falling apart before his eyes. As you can see right here the main character (Amir) is walking off the edge. This symbol represents on how much pain he can take from life, leading him to walk of the edge. The black entity behind him is his guilt and how his own darkness is consuming him by each day. --- On the good side however, the red kite represents on how there's hope in the world, and that there's a light in every dark tunnel. The birds represents freedom and that you can do anything in life if you are patient. The clouds symbolizes that life will take you to uncertain places, like storms, heavy rain, and fierce winds. But it also has its good sunny days as well, and the cool breeze that make you feel like you're at peace. This book has taught me a lot of things about life, like how "bad things" don't last forever.
