The documentary draining the Bermuda Triangle follows various teams who try to analyse and investigate the vortex of death using sonar mapping that will reveal features of this mysterious section of the ocean. Sonar mapping has also revealed that the Bermuda Triangle is located atop a huge sea mountain lying marooned in the Atlantic Ocean and is 4000 ft high.

It is believed that a volcanic eruption during the early phase of development of the Atlantic may have created the mountain which grew bigger ultimately towering above the ocean’s surface. The volcano became extinct 30 million years ago and was eroded by wind and rain into a flat plateau.
