20 Damage in 1 Turn is Possible ! | Splinterlands Socmed Challenge

# <center> **Armored Strike Ability**  </center>

Let's talk about this ability first. Armored strike is an ability which allows the monster to have an addition attack based on their armor. The form of this attack is counted as a melee, and so the monsters have to placed on the front position to activate this attack, except if they have the other ability to allows them to attack from the back, such as reach, opportunity, or sneak.

What makes this ability is great is that the fact that we can improve the armor easier than the melee attack. Melee attack are only improved by just 1 points with the inspire ability. Meanwhile, protect ability is giving 2 armor, so we can basically add 2 damage with just 1 ability , doubled than what we can expect with the melee attack.

# <center> **Armored Strike Can be Combined**  </center> 

Since armored strike works like the melee attack, it also can be combined with another ability. The ability combination might makes an even more effective effect from the Armored Strike.

Blasting is a great choice because they armor strike will blasted into enemies. This will give more damage to enemies.

You can also combine it with enfeeble. With the melee damage reduce effect, you can get double effect because armored strike will also reduce enemies physical attack. So, instead of reduce 1 damage on each turn, you can reduce enemies attack by 2 points!

Next the giant killer, this ability would really usefull for eliminating big monster with more than 10 mana cost. Those giants can be serious trouble because they often having great stats and abilities, and with giant killer, you can doubled your damage to them, and great thing is, same effect is apllied for the armored strike !

Last is pierce effect. Pierce is very usefull against monster with armor, and with pierce, you can easily eliminate them if you have high enough damage to do that. Armored strike would go through enemies health point dirrectly with the Pierce ability, and you can possibly to eliminate 2 monsters each turns.

# <center> **Battle Example**  </center> 

Okay, as always I would give the battle example of my strategy. You can watch the battle on https://splinterlands.com/battle/sl_4d59651273781e1aae55709ecebbe916 , but I will also share it here.

Here is the formation of both team, and the ruleset for the match. 37 mana cap is a medium high mana for many combination, and I bet there might be at least 1 giant monster to appear, that's why I think it's a great time for Legionnaire alvar to get the buff instead of trying the bloodlust support for Jared Scar. There is melee mayhem which makes all melee able to hit from any positions, and there is reverse speed which make slower monster is having more advantage (and bloodlust will having disadvantage on the speed).

My buff works well with Legionare Alvar manage to eliminate 2 monster at the 1st round ! Meanwhile, my team still with 6 monsters thanks for the healing. My enemy left with just 3 monster because another monster with low health also eliminated.

At 2nd round, Legionare Alvar eliminate another monster, with 20 damage from the armored strike plus the pierce, who can survive ? My team? still having full squad !

Legionaire alvar makes a hard hit with 10 damage at 3rd round, and my team finally win the match ! A perfect victory (if only I play on survival mode).

# <center> **Conclussion**  </center>

Armored strike can having more buff improvement since the protect ability is giving 2 armor unlike the inspire that only gives 1 damage addition. Armored strike is also counted as a melee damage and can be combined with another ability to make it even more effective, the example of it is the pierce and giant killer, which makes the armored strike can give double damage for monster with 10 or more mana cost, and able to pierce the armor and hit their health point with the rest of damage taken !
