# This is My Team

You guys would probably be able to spot @aurah and @perennial in this group. This was during our recent KRU Academy's Open Day where we were invited as industrial specialists and also as a special collaboration partner with KRU Academy. A few days later during the Labour Day, a special surprise was presented to us, we won the best Cartoon Magazine in Malaysia for 2018.

I was walking on cloud nine. These awards meant a lot to me and my team. Although I have no idea what these awards can do for the company, the studio and myself, but I think it is a recognition that my industry has given to my work. So that day, I invited @perennial out for our usual walk at 2.00 a.m. in Bukit Bintang trying to seek some inspiration. I came upon this...

They say you cannot separate a Malaysian from their love for food. I have always wanted to try this kebab but again I was too full. After a few rounds and talking about the video posted by a fellow steemian on ONO and EOS my curiosity was piqued. Is there going to be another new boy in town for a social media platform in the blockchain? Even if there is a new boy in town, will it bring the same platter of serving on the table. 

While some claim that they are different, but really what we can't refute is it has its eyes on the social media platform but of course with a slightly different slant, different culture and a different code. But as far as I am concerned, I have grown on this platform and I had made withdrawals and paid my bills through the Steem Blockchain and for that Steemit will always be the first bet for me.

I know many people are keeping very quiet on this matter and I think the ecosystem in Steemit is vibrant enough with strong support from communities such as curie, ocd-resteem, steemiteducation, sndbox and minnows support group. It is not easy to start a community and lead a community like what @sireh has done with #steem-cartoon and it is definitely not easy for those who had put their heart and sweat into building sustainable communities. 

I am a bit saddened when there are people who ride on their anger and disappointment as their launchpad to another platform. That will not be a healthy start. I believe that all communities should start on the basis that the forerunner is passionate about their cause and the people in their community. This should not be about how one platform is feeding the frustration of those disappointed in their current platform. Anything fueled by negativity has the wrong vibe to be anything big. 

But again, this is just my rant. 

# My New IP
___

I am thinking of building new intellectual properties on new characters that I wish to throw into the blockchain and these characters together with their background shall be revealed in 5 different series. I hope that the community will receive this as part of development of intellectual property rights within the Steemit Ecosystem which is something that we all ought to explore. I am first glad that Steemit is one platform that we can experiment with different idea and test a general response. 

I am now using this platform as my acid test for my new IP. Let's see how it turns out. I am okay even if it gets wiped out 50% to help bring stability to the cartoon world.
