- **Hi guys**, _Just like a blind person does not feel the value of a jewel, we are also used to avoiding many valuable things and eating poison. This can be easily overcome by being a part of the nature_. _cassava crop is a common plant growing tropical countries such as India, Malaysia and Sri Lanka_. _Now let's see how to use this cassava crop that can be easily grown anywhere_. _Although many people know about the use of cassava tubers, very little is known about the use of cassava leaves_. _Let's see how we can use cassava leaves. There is something we should be especially careful about when eating the cassava plant's tubers as well as its leaves_. _This plant has a compound called HCN (Hydrogen Cyanide) that produces cyanide during the process_. _When the tissues of the cassava leaves are broken, the cassava leaves release the cyanide which is an extreme harmful substance to the human body_. _Therefore, when cooking both cassava leaves or tubers, always open the lid of the pot so that the HCN in it is removed as it is heat unstable. In the same way, always when choosing leaves to cook, we should choose leaves that are matured to a certain level as there HCN value is comparatively lower than the un- matured leaves_. _The next special thing is that while preparing the cassava leaves, they should be cut in to very small or cut short so that heat can easily release HCN while cooking_. _Guys, don't be afraid after hearing this cyanide story, you will know how nutritious and delicious this is, so now let's see how to make this casaava salad which is popular in most of traditional villagers_. _First, after removing the stem from the cassava leaves, wash them well and set them aside_. _Prepare the following ingredients for it_. π500g cassava leaves πA sprig of curry leaves πA couple of garlic cloves πA big onion or red onion πA half of scraping coconut πTea spoon of salt πA pinch of chilli or a green chilli pod πTwo table spoons of coconut oil for seasoning πA one tea spoon of must πTwo pods of red dry chillies _Grind these washed leaves well with the help of mortar and pestle and add some curry leaves to it and add garlic, chillies, red onion salt powder to it and grind for another two to three minutes_. _To cook this chopped salad, put two table spoons of oil in the pan and when the oil is hot, add red chilly and mustard to it and fry a little, then add the chopped salad and temper it. Boil the salad in the pan for seven to eight minutes and then remove it from the heat when the green colour disappears and turns yellow_. _This is a very delicious dish and you can enjoy it with rice, Dhal curry and dry fish. If you try this recipe, you will always love to eat a bowl of rice. This is a very nutritious meal_. _This is my favourite food and my two daughters love this food very much and we all love the salad as it is very tasty. Now let's talk about the nutrients in this cassava salad_..., There is a saying about cassava, which is a staple food of Africans, that is, while cassava tubers give us bread from the ground, cassava leaves give us meat from the air, which means that the cassava leaves are very beneficial. β’ The main point to be mentioned here is that cassava leaves have the highest nutritional protein content of all amino acids than any other commercial vegetable. β’ Due to the high amount of dietary fiber, this salad increases the amount of probiotic bacteria and increases the immunity in the body and relieves constipation due to the high amount of fiber. β’ As it contains vitamin C, it has more antioxidant properties and also increases immunity β’ Vitamins improve eyesight and control diseases caused by genetic defects β’ It also contains minerals such as potassium, iron, phosphorus, calcium, zinc, ect Cassava leaves serving size β 126g Calories 48g Total fat 0.42g Saturated fat 0.1g Trans fat n/a Cholesterol 0g Sodium 12mg Total carbohydrates 9.1g Dietary fiber 2.4g Sugar 0.1g Protein 4.6g **Ok guys bay bay see you again**ππ
