Birdwatcher's Log : 04.10.22
Finally, I got out into the forest. I really looked forward to autumn, cool weather, the absence of vile insects and the absence of impenetrable thickets.

The path to my favorite forest lies through the old cemetery.

Many birds live and visit this cemetery. Here is a **willow tit**, she jumped over the graves and looked for something to eat.

While I was photographing the birds, this woolly friend was watching me. Stray dogs often live here.

By the way, it was pretty foggy.

And then suddenly I saw a squirrel! Here is a surprise! The fact is that squirrels live very far from this meta, well, just very far, and as you know, squirrels and chipmunks do not travel far from their usual habitats.

There were a lot of **long-tailed tits**. I love these cute creatures. They flew in a flock in my direction, and were not afraid to sit on the trees next to me.

Finally, I arrived in the forest.

A **nuthatch** near me was jumping on the bark of a tree and hiding some food.

![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmeSpBTgsxf876vv6QUeL9T8ut3d2mhaSTNWxbXEeEjoPA/_04_10_2022_183551.jpg)

And **great tits** examined the fallen leaves on the ground.

![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmV8hf6zfobq81hpHYhQB6PD4dY5gNVbzsdh84oAGQ3UL6/_04_10_2022_183612.jpg)

The treecreeper, like the nuthatch, crawled along the tree, and really didn’t want me to photograph him, but I succeeded.

There were a lot of **siskins**, they flew in flocks and did not want to go down. I had to turn on their voices on my phone and some reluctantly flew lower from the treetops.

The **jay** croaked aggressively on the tree. I thought it was because she saw me, but it turned out that there were two magpies nearby, and she did not like them.

A **great spotted woodpecker** got hold of a cone and was trying to fit it comfortably into a hole he had made.

Passing by the river, I suddenly met a **robin**. Seriously? Buddy, it's already October, it's been snowing for several days, the weather is cold, and you haven't flown to warm countries yet?

![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmaVwr9Tzoqp1djTHV8Wy2WzKML8kjjpxM1gN7wusanN2X/_04_10_2022_183824.jpg)

A **white-backed woodpecker** was pecking at a tree nearby.

And again the woodpecker. This time a **lesser spotted woodpecker**. Deftly examined the branches and bushes.

On a stump covered with moss, I saw a stuck fly.

![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmansj3LRUf7hvUNR3QMy3DZ8pVKk2EZdBx1cBUtkgVScC/20221004_154747.jpg)

She couldn't get out of those protruding things.

After a long journey, I went back home. This is a view of the hills and lowlands.

![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmUWbMjC3VnmVweT1eZvwBJPgx7vpSv6NZk1qy5M7gzkDS/20221004_162700.jpg)

Right at the top of the hill, I found a lot of rabbit hair. In the spring I also found, but in a different color. Obviously, hares are preparing for winter, changing their coat to warm winter.

![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmYzXYBuGnpAMLyXcgEmX292xasoUKii2Vp1Rg1MXCCTYY/20221004_162717.jpg)

Only it is not clear why in such an open place, and not hidden from everyone.

![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmbANo6K1B6dw7AhNQ1q81ybrhEqwdytYJkGBReF8g3wV4/20221004_163525.jpg)

Another view from the hill.

![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmdkRCE9x8pxaZujXNovcksN7LNh21UUemvAX3xzsFiHig/20221004_164326.jpg)

One of my favorite places. Very picturesque. Hills, forest below and a river, and on the right is a railway. But this, unfortunately, is not visible because of the foliage and thickets. In the spring you can see it all.

![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmUBdjVg17q7hKLDniQYbYJZnnGp1SDeBXgAmQCLGv97SC/20221004_164718.jpg)

Well, here's the railroad itself.

![](https://images.ecency.com/DQmWH5NPCyCxLQUj4LViqAVUcJoaHMtkfys8L2nwH7LAoWL/20221004_170421.jpg)

When I returned, I put the camera in my backpack. But along the way, I met a **kestrel**. It was too lazy and long to get the camera, so I took a photo on the phone (100x zoom)
