Did you write your 2018 Goal List?

My wife and I have been writing a yearly goal list every year we have been married. It is a fun activity we do on January 1st. We just bust out a pen and paper and write 15-20 goals.

The goals on the list range from small to large and they keep us focused on particular things to accomplish for the current year. We then post the goals on the refrigerator so we see them everyday. Its not like we walk to the fridge and consciously stare at the goals everyday, however I do believe the goals reach somewhere in our subconscious and our actions then reflect our written words.

Amazingly enough, every year we seem to hit at least 75% of the goals we wrote down. It's cool to cross off the goals from the list as they are achieved. We usually aim very high as well, so its always interesting to see how our wishes manifest. Sometimes they occur in the least likely ways which always gives us a good laugh.

In my honest opinion, this is a very simple but important task to keep your mind on the right track to manifesting the life that you want. Without a "goals list" life can sidetrack a person in many different directions and cause one to not be focused. If your life is focused then you will achieve what your focus is set on. If your life is haphazard then it is typically a reflection of not having goals.

Just the act of getting out the pen and paper, discussing your goals with your life partner, and writing them on a piece of paper is a liberating and fun process. I suggest you give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Wishing everyone a happy and safe New Year! It's 2018, make it a great one for yourself!

Kindest Regards,
