Stuck what to write on Steemit? Check this awesome beginners tutorial out!

Writers block. It's something that happens to us writers too, and often. Spells can range from thirty minutes to literally years, depending the subject.

Luckily, the web is literally filled with a plethora of handy hints and tips to cure writers block for even the most hardcore of writers. And you can follow mine if you're seasoned or a total beginner.

Ok, so you're new to Steemit. And you've never written a damn word in your life before. But, time is ticking and the landlord is thumping at the door for rent and those bills are growing larger by the second, slowly suffocating you as you try to desperately claw at some inspiration.

DON'T FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GO FOR THE EASY OPTION!

Yay. Wham, meme posted with a couple of lines of text, bam. Thank you, quick, took two minutes, and I should earn $$$.

Really, don't be surprised if you walk away feeling like this place is a load of crap if you do this. Because more and more people are wanting to see quality, and unique content - now that the user base is growing by the hour.

So what do you do? You can't write! You never have!

Well, now's your chance. Invest in yourself a little. Take time to think about what you can and can't do and set aside a couple of hours to bash out some great content. I'm all for originality, I always up vote those that are giving it a good try!

Here's the best guide for you:

As I said in a previous post. Write about what you love. I get it, if you asked me what I loved fifteen years ago I would have said "beer" and have no idea how I could write about beer.

I get that.

So what about your job? What do you like about your job? Have you been in your job for so long that you feel like you are part of the furniture? Any useful tips you think we'd love to hear? Anything useful?

The best content always has a use - like this post, I'm using my experience as a writer to help you with your writing.

Think of when you use Google - the many places you google to: Those serve a purpose don't they?

You need to serve a purpose to your readers. So if you love cars why not tell us about the unique trip to the latest car rally you went to - and any awesome tips, or pics you have for us?

If you enjoy biking why not give us some pictures of your best biking ventures, or, the best places to bike in your patch of the world?

If you love computers tell us the best coin to mine, or the best app to use, etc

If you're a kitchen porter in a hotel why not tell us how to win the heart of the staff? Tips to avoid your food getting pissed in, and some awesome wines you've tasted - or even just what it's like to work in a busy kitchen with a temperamental chef.

THE LIST IS ENDLESS

And I challenge you - everyone on Steemit - a few topics:

1. Write something you think I'd like to know

2. Write something you are proud of

3. What sucks about work?

4. What is good about work?

5. What's your most amazing memory?

6. What's your worst memory?

That should kickstart you on your way.

I hope this helps. Thanks for reading!! :)
