<hr> I discovered a new thing that my dog "Sky" started to do this week, which is eating large sticks falling from the tree. She never used to do that. I am not sure if she is just copying other dogs in the park or just developed the love of eating wood pieces! At first, I thought "Sky" was just playing and chewing the stick as a replacement for the chew toy so I observed it for a while.      <hr> But soon I realized that she was actually eating it and bled a little on her gums. I got quite worried and took the stick away from her. After some research online, chewing on a stick is actually quite dangerous as the wood splinters can easily jam into a dogs mouth which could cause infection. In addition, it can also cause intestinal blockages if some wood pieces are swallowed. Thankfully, it was only a little blood in "Sky's" mouth, nothing major! I would make sure to be more cautious with "Sky" in the future. <center></center>
