This is literally how most of the crypto holders are feeling right now, while the paper hands are looking for a safety net to run to, or a life boat to run into while the crypto market crashes, the long term holders are calm trying to console and distract theirselves from what is happening. It gets worst when you onboarded someone into crypto shortly before the dip, this is the time you start getting a lot of ridiculous calls filled with panic cries because, this is their first bear experience. If you have gone through the bear season between 2018 - 2019, then this one shouldn’t bother you.

Glad I had the opportunity of experiencing the 2018 bear season, all my panic selling and feelings during those periods came with a lot of regrets 3 years later. There, I found myself calculating how rich I would have been if I hadn’t sold my coins. That feeling is one of the worst feelings to have, you find yourself constantly telling people who do not care, how rich you could have been if you hadn’t sold your coins.

Bitcoin price has gone down more than half the price from its all time high, the bitcoin all time high was at $68k, today Bitcoin touchdown a $32k price and below, so people that bought bitcoin at $68k have lost more than 50% of their investments, but the world has been screaming, HODL!!! HODL!!! If most people are screaming HODL, who then is selling? If you bought bitcoin at $68k how does it feel seeing it and holding at $32k, that must be a really brave thing to do, hodling at this price. But then, this year bear has nothing on 2018 bear ( imagine buying bitcoin at $19k and watch it crash to $4,000) that’s more than 75% loss. Are we going to be seeing that this year, or next year, I don’t know but bracing yourself is the best thing to do. If you believe in the crypto technology and it’s future, while people are seeing dip, you will be seeing opportunities. But I don’t expect the newbies to relate, it’s natural for them to panic, they are babies in the crypto game. 


**Crypto Prophets Are No Where To Be Found**
After bitcoin got its $68k all time high price, lots of people predicted it will get to $100k before the year 2021 ends but that didn’t work out as they predicted. This year became the new year for bitcoin to get to 100k according to their prediction. But now,they are nowhere to be found as I am sure that most of them got liquidated. This is the reason it’s not advisable to take investment advise from Twitter, YouTube or any other social media platform. 


It has been predicted times without number that no one knows the direction of the market, you can only try your best with technical analysis, but fundamentals has proven to supersede technical analysis times without number. The best is to accumulate and hold for the long run, we have the opportunity of DeFi, with it, you can stake and earn yields from staking while we wait for the price to bounce back.
