Last week I promised to be dropping my favorite tv shows and movies at least once a week. Today will be focused on friends because I have gotten the tv show out of my head. 

If you have been looking for that sign or push to watch friends, after reading this article I want you to go and watch it. I am sure that you must have come across memes or GIFs gotten from a scene or a 2 or 3 second clip from the show.

The show is so great because it depicted love, life, family and friendship in a comic, humorous way. I don’t have a favorite character because each and every one of them played their unique characters so well.

Ross Geller is a character played by David Schwimmer, he is the older brother to Monica Geller. He is a funny character and he is madly in love with his paleontologist job. Aside being madly in love with his job he also loves Rachael Green( a character played by Jennifer Anniston). I love the character because he is vulnerable and he  embraced his soft side. He was not so much of a macho character but he is very funny.

Monica Geller is also another unique character played by Courtney Cox, which is known as Ross’s younger sister. She is a great chef and beautiful, she is also hopelessly romantic but haven’t found the right man till she had sex with Chandler ( Ross’s best friend) and they fell in love. She is also beautiful but extremely compulsive. You could say she has an OCD (obsessive Compulsive Disorder).

Rachel Green, a character played by Jennifer Anniston, is known as a very beautiful spoilt brat, who was Monica’s long lost best friend, she ran away from her wedding because she didn’t want to get married, that was the day she met Monica after they lost contact for so many years. She is also ambitious but her relationship with Ross Geller was almost everyone’s favorite moment about the show.

Chandler Bing is a character played by Matthew Perry, known to be really funny and extremely sarcastic. He is Ross’s best friend and Joey Tribbiani’s. His relationship with Monica Geller also caught people’s attention because it was a union that was not expected but when it happened, people liked it. Their relationship showed what real love and sacrifice was.

Phoebe Buffay is one wonderful Character  played by Lisa Kudrow , that I also love because in my opinion her character seem extremely smart and dumb at the same time. She has a twin but they are not close. She loves to make music even if they sound terrible. She sometimes hold the friend’s group together. She is known for her favorite song “smelly cat”. I was hoping Phoebe and Joey were going to end up together since they were the only ones in the group left to hook up. But they didn’t.

Joey Tribbiani, a character played by Matt LeBlanc. His character is one I found extremely funny but dumb. He is known to be an actor on the show. He is good in sports and cool things but dumb at maths and anything associated with smart people. He loves food a lot especially pizza and he is Chandler Bing’s room mate. He loves women and will always do some funny dumb thing that will make you love him.
