My landlord is considered one of the most stingy people on earth because the man is so frugal with how he spends his money, but its clearly obvious that the man has a lot of money. He would rather build properties than spend money on his children, although the children go to a great schools, but buying other things other than educational stuff looks like a waste of money. They complained how frugal their dad is, how he spends money on things he considered valuable. Frugal parents are known to only invest money on things they consider valuable, if it’s going to add value to your life, best believe that they are going to get it for you, but if it won’t add value to your life, or if it’s just for fun, they won’t.

This is because of their frugal nature. Some of us were born with frugal feature and some of us grew to be frugal based on our environment. Environment can affect frugality, for instance, if you grew up with less money and people around you always bothered about spending money more on the important things more than the less important things, over time you will find yourself being frugal. I will say i am kinda frugal too, because I grew up with a frugal father, I had this idea that if you want something you have to save up to have it, and one way to save up to have it is to not spend money on some certain things. For instance if you used to buy a favorite snack every day, you have to forfeit buying that snack, so you can save the money and buy whatever you are saving for. 


Now let’s emphasise on frugal parents, frugal parents deprive theirselves a lot only to invest all they have for their children and the future of their children. In Nigeria there are a lot of frugal who have sacrificed a lot for the future of their children, more parents are still doing it and more parents are going to do it. Some parents go as far as using one single car for over 10 years because they are saving money to train their children abroad. Some of them invest in real estate, only to sell them when they want to use the money to train their kids abroad. Some of them deprive theirselves the feeling of buying a luxurious car because they want to secure their kids future.
