Pi Coin Mining App Might Just Be Mining Your Data

So pi has been giving a lot of us hope for a very long time now with the idea that we are mining tokens and someday we might just wake up really rich and right now I think its false. We have seen other mining projects come and stayed and also come and gone, but its been over 3 years but we have not seen any sign of mainnet launch from pi. But instead they conducted a compulsory KYC to make all miners very their identities. First you will be asked to confirm identity with your email address, after email address, your social media will be required.

Part of what is required for KYC is to submit a valid government issued ID, which can be your intention passport, or your national ID card, which is a very valid information about you and pi has over one million people who are using the app and mining “token” from the app. That is a lot of data, remember the saying, if you don’t know where the liquidity is coming from, you are the liquidity, I think the message is clear now. They keep coming up with excuses to why there is delay to their main launch. He other day crypto exchanges like bitmart and co listed a pi derivative on their exchanges, a token that you could trade but can’t deposit or withdraw it, this created another pi hype. As a lot of people who had given up on pi before started mining pi again.

Right now I dont know how its going to turn out but its obvious that pi is mining users data and information and are probably selling them while giving the users hope that they might make money from mining and their patience might get rewarded. Well for a start, Pi has announced that trading the listed Pi derivatives on exchanges is at your own risk, they said they are not associated with it. So be careful when trading, but have it mind that your data might just be getting mined.
