<p><center><h1>The Bots Are As Thick As Flies Around A Pile Of Fresh Shit</h1></center></p>

<p>I think the best way to deal with this problem is mute the spammers and annoying bots. They will not be able to grow their reputation and eventually will leave from lack of growth.  It saves my peace of mind using this method, I am not angry or full of revenge, just resigned to the way the world works. Many people come on Steemit looking to make a little money but do not have any content or skills in this digital world that sells or interest people. That is something that should be stated when selling Steemit to the general public. You need to produce quality content that will interest other people.  Many people come from cultures that are not like ours and begging is part of how they function in their society. I don't get angry, I just get annoyed because this behavior along with spamming gets in my way of finding quality content I can promote and grow for the Steemit community.</p>
<p>I checked my wallet the other day and someone has sent me .0001 SBD telling me this is the last day to join their free Steem or SBD giveaway, contest or Birthday, what ever. I let this slide for a while but now, along with the resteem bots, upvote/down vote bots, buy vote bots, I am getting annoyed. So now when a bot post something on my comment section or sends me 0.0001 SBD I just mute them. </p> 

<p>In the beginning of my Steemit journey back in September of 2016 I followed everyone who followed me. However after Steem hit $2.00 and we had thousands of people join I deleted all the people I followed except for those I had interactions with, my stream was too overwhelming to curate. But my home stream became limited and stale, so I added a 1300 of my followers and my home stream turned into a resteem stream. I started muting anyone who has more resteems than articles, I felt as if I was being buzzed by a bunch of flies.</p>

<p> As I was muting a dozen resteem bots yesterday I had an idea for a painting. I painted my mental condition regarding the influx of bots here on steemit. I don't know how the bots will be integrated here on Steemit. I like some of them, like putting my favorites and promising up and coming Steemians on an upvote bot and Cheetah Bot catching plagiarizers.  However the upvote bots I use never filled up someone's comment section with automated, "I upvoted your $,"  by so and so bot before. That is also annoying. The resteem bots are making it difficult for me to curate my stream, not anymore! They are all muted now. </p>
<p> I feel a lot better after I finished this piece of art. It is true, art is good therapy! My husband suggested I fashion some of my bots after the Steven Spielberg movie, "<b>Batteries Not Included," which I did. I took the classic cartoon of a woman screaming as my mind screaming at overwhelming data from the resteem bots.  The resteem bots are my idea, those irritating flies that try and land on you all the time and won't leave you alone until you leave or squash them! </p>
