 Uno de los últimos Héroes liberados este año en el juego Lords Mobile es Austin, El Rompe Olas. La historia de Austin dice que nació en una isla distante y creció aprendiendo diferentes técnicas de combate, las cuales usó en algún momento para proteger a su gente de los ataques de otras tribus. Se convirtió en el campeón más joven y cuando creció y los recursos de su isla comenzaron a escasear, se lanzó a la aventura de encontrar la tierra mágica que decía la legenda que existía más allá del mar. Un lugar que habían tratado de alcanzar muchos otros antes que él. Quise dibujarlo para la celebración del aniversario de IGG así que hice el primer diseño en estilo anime. Se me hizo algo difícil de interpretar la forma de su cara, porque es bastante cuadrada, pero con un mentón pequeño en comparación con otros héroes como Wesley o Don Guapo. También me había confundido hacia qué lado lleva las sogas de su traje. No sé si fue porque cuando lo estaba dibujando tenía migraña y a veces el dolor no me deja ni analizar las cosas correctamente. Sin embargo, logré identificar la falla y corregirla en el proceso de entintado. Para el fondo desenfocado no utilicé filtros como Desenfoque Gaussiano, sólo lo trabajé con brochas de acuarela con una opacidad media para que los bordes no quedaran muy duros y finalmente lograr el efecto de desenfoque. Les comparto a continuación lo que fue el proceso para crear esta ilustración. One of the latest Heroes released this year in Lords Mobile game is Austin the Wave Crasher. Austin's story says that he was born on a distant island and grew up learning different fighting techniques, which he used at one time to protect his people from attacks by other tribes. He became the youngest champion and when he grew up and his island's resources began to dwindle, he embarked on an adventure to find the magical land that legend said existed beyond the sea. A place that many others before him had tried to reach. I wanted to draw it for IGG's anniversary celebration so I made the first design in anime style. It was a little difficult for me to interpret the shape of his face, because it is quite square, but with a small chin compared to other heroes like Wesley or Don Guapo. I had also been confused which way he wears the ropes of his suit. I don't know if it was because when I was drawing it I had a migraine and sometimes the pain doesn't even allow me to analyze things correctly. However, I managed to identify the flaw and correct it in the inking process. For the blurred background I did not use filters like Gaussian Blur, I only worked it with watercolor brushes with a medium opacity so that the edges were not too hard and finally achieve the blur effect.
