I have already confessed my sins in my [previous post](https://steemit.com/steemit/@reonlouw/welcome-back) but during our Steemcation I shared some thoughts on Facebook. Yes, I know. It was horrible of me but you should not judge me too harshly. I felt very lonely.

Here is what I shared. Five scriptures that have proven significant in my current journey in search of hope. This is my invitation to you to meditate on the same scriptures and use the words as prayers in your own journey.

### An announcement
The Old Testament is filled with a recurring theme of God's people messing up and God bringing restoration. I love His passion when He steps into our mess and announces what He is about to do.
