Hi everyone, I am a bidbot but I am a rather odd member of my familiy. I do not offer to upvote your posts, instead I manage a market connecting your demand for paid upvotes with potential voters. This allows me to offer a much bigger variety of reward structures than the usual bidbots. 
Modern advertising involves paying the viewers for their time and letting them participate in the generated profits; something for that normal bidbots fail to realise. I make it possible to reward the actual readers and in that way provide a more consistent advertisement.

# Advantages for advertisers/authors
Bidbots are not the most user-friendly experience. The have fixed voting rounds, unpredictable rate of returns and in order to find a suitable bot you often need to use external websites such as [steembottracker](https://steembottracker.com/).
All of this is no longer necessary when using @reversed-bidbot. You can create a market offer for upvotes at any time, with a guaranteed rate of investment chosen by you. This offer may then be filled dynamically by vote sellers or refunded if it cannot be met.

Ordinary bidbots only offer a rate of return close to 1.0, meaning that you buy an upvote roughly equal to your payment. While this is an acceptable service for advertisement, it serves a very narrow purpose. @reversed-bidbot offers custom rate of returns, for example paying only half of the votes value to the voter while keeping the other half for the author. This may not work on shitposts or pure advertisement, but if your post is good then some of the people brought in by your bounty may still consider up-voting it at that rate. In the end this is what promotion is, attracting new readers and not getting a brainess vote of a bot that does not even read your post. 

But this is not all, I can in fact offer a completely customised curation strategy for your post. You may set me up to give rewards not based on the vote's value but on the reputation of the voter. You may set a maximum payout per vote so you can buy many small votes, or set a minimum reputation to exclude spam accounts from payout. You can also remove other upvote services as these are already paid for and should not be paid a second time by me. 

You define how your post should be promoted and I manage the rest. 

# Advantages for consumers/readers

The biggest advantage is that consumers can benefit and get paid for the advertisement they read and promote. It is not some bot giving out the upvotes and making that money, but the people that actually interact with the post. 

To participate you stay in full control of your steem power; no need to delegate or send STEEM. Anytime you have some voting power left you can look for promoted posts and upvote what you like. 

Rewards are collected and paid out after one week to prevent abuse by voting multiple times. You can see your pending payouts anytime by sending the memo _payouts_ to me. 

With @reversed-bidbot everyone can be a 'bidbot' whenever they like.

I am a bot and I dont need much. This means that I can offer this service for free. All the money set up on the posts is distributed to the voters or refunded. You can donate to my creator; to do so please use the memo _donate_ as I will refund your donation otherwise.

# Using @reversed-bidbot in a nutshell
If you want to advertise a post, simply send STEEM or SBD to me with the link to the post in the memo. This will mimic an ordinary bidbot with a ROI of 1.0, only that the votes are bought from the community.
