<center></center> Most people have a ton of batteries at home, and many of them have been removed from devices before they ran out of charge. I have a separate pile for batteries that are not "fresh". Having a good charge is very handy for finding what batteries are charged and what are not. Ideally when you need more than one battery in a device you want to match how charged a battery is. Full charged batteries together and half charged ones together. This charge will charge all your common battery types and your button and lithium batteries. While the design could be a little better (you have to hold the batteries with the nose to nose, rather than butt to nose which would have made more sense and make it easier to hold). You can test 9V batteries as well which tend to die quickly as they have much less overall capacity. There isn't a whole lot else to say about this, it isn't a cheap charger but will likely last a life time. I think we had ours for 6 years now and it works as good now as it did the day we got it. Unfortunately it's $42 on Amazon right now so it isn't the best place to buy it. At the time it looks like we paid around $25 for it. I'm sure there are some cheaper devices out there, but my father wanted one that was sure to work and last forever. He prefers to buy a tool once rather than every few years. You can find the product on [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002EH4YO/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) right now for $42 but you might want to look around for a better price as that is a lot higher than what we paid back in 2012. Images are from the Amazon product page
