Weeklyish Running update...
So i've been well up for my running in the last week...hence the actual weekly update...

That'd be 30Ks in the last 5 days, that's a lot for little old me, and i feel just fine!

### Last Weds cheek run...

Just a quick 3.5K around the park in Bromley, easy run, coincided with a trip to Tesco!

### Last Thursday.... tired intervals

I was a bit short on sleep following having been away for a week. I'd just driven back from London, getting up at 4.00 a.m. and wanted to run on the Thursday, I had intended to go out later, but I decided to head out around 9.00 shortly before I got back, I was sort of 'now or never'.

I headed up to the track and did some basic, but slower than usual intervals....

At least I got 'em in! I even chucked in a couple of 200s...

### Saturday long run....

I headed out earlyish for a long run, flexible in mind, having reached a certain juncture I decided to turn left and extend my route - it had been on my radar for a while, I just plodded on, ended up doing 14Ks still a way out of the city centre, bit further than I guestimated but it was a good run.

Sad to say that in a few years time a new bypass will disrupt this otherwise very nice country lane peaceful run!

My first proper long run in a very long time! More of this!

### Today's intervals..

I was a bit more up for it today... I headed out and did my usual 800 and then 3 times 400 intervals... the legs were a little tired after that long run less than 48 hours earlier but I kept an eye on how I felt and I know I kept well within my limits.

NB I was taking it a little easy as I'd been hitting it harder, and these are slower, but man LOOK AT THAT CONSISTENCY WITH THE PACE!

Interesting to note that if I do a 400 at a 3.55 pace it doesn't really push my HR to max these days but it still hurts, maybe I should be pushing further, but intuitively I think holding back a little on these intervals is better for me!

### Next weeks plans...

I'll see how it goes, the next run is gonna be easy, that's for sure!
